  • Does this Vaxcel Lighting Esprit Traditional Kitchen Island Light - VX-PD40136SA work with energy saving light bulbs? If so, would the bulbs stick out further than the glass fixtures. In other words, since the energy saving bulbs can sometime be longer than regular bulbs are they going to stick out from under the glass and look bad? If you can provide the depth of the glass fixtures that would help determine how much space there is.

    I confirmed with Vaxcel (the manufacturer) that you can use energy saving bulbs as long as it does not exceed the max wattage of the fixture which is 150W per shade. Also, the Amber Flake Glass has dimensions of 12.375" W x 4.375" H.
