  • Would I be able to take the bottom out of this lamp? And on a side note, though you say 100W incandescent, there wouldn't be a problem with a fluorescent used instead, correct?

    The Vaxcel Lighting Mission Transitional Outdoor Hanging Lantern - VX-OD37276BBZ is actually open at the bottom so you will be able to access the bulb for changing that way. In terms of what type of bulb you can use, as long as it is a medium based bulb (E26) and is 100W or less you should be able to use it in this lamp.
