  • I have a hunter fan. will this light kit fit my fan? the base of the fan, where the light attaches, is 3".

    Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee compatibility of the light kit you are interested in with the current fan you have, since they are from different manufacturers. Our light kit vendor is not able to test compatibility against all the ceiling fan models (from 30+ brands) in the ceiling fan industry. If you do decide to purchase this light kit and later find out that it is not compatible with your ceiling fan, you may return the item as long as it is not a clearance item and the item has not been installed or modified in any way. I received a response back from the manufacturer, Vaxcel Lighting, and they advised the following: "Our warehouse was able to get back to with the fitter measurements for the referenced item attaching to a ceiling fan. The fitter size to the switch box is 3-3/8". Please be advised that we charge a 20% restocking fee on all returns.
