Hello Laurie, Lighting fixture model # TG-41015-PL has a Ribbed Shade and its a 13 W compact fluorescent light that with time might make a light noise. Hello Laurie, Item model # TG-41015-PL and TG-PL-41015 unfortunately can not be used in the shower. Item model # TG-41015 can be used in the shower. The manufacturer recommends the use of silicone in the back part of the fixture to prevent from water coming in.
