    • Not the quality I expected for the money

I installed 2 of these at the corners of the apron in front of a new garage. They are fairly easy to assemble. The lamp post body is all aluminum, so weather proof. The hardware is not, so it all rusts. The 4 round globes are made of plastic, not glass. In 12 months mine have all turned light green on the top. I have asked Arcadian for glass replacements that will stay white; we will see how good their customer service is after the sale. We have had some of the globes blow off in a windy thunderstorm. You really need to lock them on there. Only one set screw is provided on each globe.
    • Update to Previous Review

I am back to say that the manufacturer replaced the globes because they weathered very quickly (turned green). The new globes say PMMA on them. I do not recall seeing anything on the original globes. Hopefully they have switched to a different material that is more weather resistant. I found some stainless steel set screws at Home Depot to replace the rusty plain steel screws that lock the globes on. (Note, they are metric threads.) Things are looking up.
