Hello Melinda, Item SN-4808-01 utilizes a regular E26 screw in base incandescent bulb and can be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer. The light bulbs featured on the item are called half-chrome bulbs and are available for purchase through Sonneman lighting the cost is $ 9.50 per bulb and the part number is 6774.01 (half-chrome bulb).Jan 02, 2013
