    I contacted Quoizel and they advised that you have to use at least one link of chain to connect the canopy to this pendant light. Unfortunately, the item can not be completely flush mounted you have to have that one link of chain. I have provided a link to the installation instructions if you do not have them readily available. Please see the installation manual for this item on the "Additional Product Info Tab" for your reference.
