How is the bulb alligned? Does the bulb screw in from the bottom? Can the bottom lens be removed? Is there room to change the bulb using a device on a pole?Apr 14, 2009
Hello Gayle I have confirmed with the manufacturer that the bulb does face downward as a screw in, but in order to change the bulbs the complete cover would have to be removed. The bottom glass panel is not removable for changing the bulb and if done that way may actually break the glass. I hope this answers your questions :)Apr 15, 2009
Are your lighting fixtures made in America using American materials?Apr 14, 2009
Unfortunately, I would say that 99% are not made of American material. Most of them are made in China. If they are assembled in the US, then there are parts from all over the world; some hand blown glasses are made in Italy, France, Spain, metal hardware such as cord, screws, canopies from China, ceiling fan blades from Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, fan motors made in Taiwan, light bulbs made in the US, Korea, Japan or China, etc.....just to give you some example. It's going to be very hard to source a lighting fixture completely made in the US and also use American material.Apr 15, 2009
