Yes, this sloped recessed housing can be adusted down from 22 deg. to almost 0 deg. Thus, the 6 deg. slope from the horizontal plane is fine. For your info. the maximum pitch of 6/12 means for every 6 feet up, it's 12 feet across.Jul 15, 2008
I need to install 10 Nora Lighting 6" IC Sloped Ceiling Remodel Recessed Light Housing - NHRIC-926QAT for my new kitchen. I have a vaulted ceiling and was looking at installing these with some of the different covers, The listing for this shows that it can be use with trim NTM52. But it appears that NTM52 is an eyeball trim that the bulb sits in, bulb for is fixed. So does NTM52 trim fit with this housing? Does NTM52 have a lense on the pivot part that appears to be the bulb?Jan 19, 2010
I have confirmed with Nora Lighting that 6" IC Open Gimbal Adjustable Trim - NTM-52 is compatible with the NHRIC-926QAT sloped ceiling housings. I have also verified that all the trims that we have listed under "Arcadian Lighting Recommends" on the product page for the NHRIC-926QAT are compatible with that housing as well. The way that the NTM52 gimbal trim works with a sloped ceiling adapter is that there is a floating socket (included with the trim) that fastens to the the stationary housings and allows mobility. The glass pictured is not a lense. It is the lightbulb for that fixture.Jan 20, 2010
