Minimum Clearances -Non-IC: 3" from thermal insulation, and 0.5" from adjacent building components IC: Direct contact allowed; no clearances are required.
Ceiling Thickness -Housing adjust from 0.375" - 1.375" to accomodate various ceiling thicknesses.
Lamp Adjustment -Adjustable socket mounting plate allows for best possible light distribution.

  • Can you tell me if the Nora Lighting 6" Remodel IC Airtight Shallow Recessed Light Housing - NHRIC-27QAT is compatible with the Nora Lighting 6" IC Open Gimbal Adjustable Trim - NTM-52? Also, I assume I have no trouble using the R/PAR30 lights with this. The specs for the light housing indicates 75W incandescent. But the trim shows R/PAR30. I believe the PAR30s are halogen. Can I use Halogen as long as I don't go above the 75W rating?

    Nora Lighting advised that NHRIC-27QAT recessed housing and trim NTM-52 are compatible with each other. They also advised that you can only use 75W Par30 which is a halogen bulb or a 75W BR30 but nothing over the 75W rating should be used.
