  • I need to know about the wiring for this fixture: is the sconce connected to the backplate? How is the wiring connected to the fixture itself? From the picture, it appears that the fixture is hanging onto the backplate by means of an arm with a hook.

    Maxim Lighting confirmed that the actual fixture will have wire going through the arm, which is not shown on this photo. To clarify, the fixture head itself cannot be detached from the hook.
