Hello MarJean, I contacted Murray Feiss and they advised that on model MRF-VS-15901-HTBZ, the measurement from the center of the backplate to the top of the glass is 5 3/4" (connection point to the top of the glass). From the center of the backplate to the bottom of the backplate, the measurement is 5". Thus, the overall height from the top of the glass to the bottom of the fixture backplate is 10 3/4". The backplate dimensions are 10" Height x 4 3/4" Width. Also, the shade dimensions are 5 1/4" Height x 3 1/2 " in Diameter.
