Questions and Answers

  • The display for this says that the stained glass is 18" wide and 6.5" high, yet the 13" wide fixture is also 6.5" high. If that is so, would the proportions be different? Also, when you say that it is 24" in length, does that mean without the glass? Thank you for any input. Teena

    Hello Teena, I contacted Meyda Tiffany and they informed me that model MD-49146 dimensions are as follows: Overall Height (canopy to bottom of shade): 24" Shade: 13" square x 6.5" high Square Canopy: 5.5" square The hardware (canopy and rod without shade) is a bit over 17 inches. I also inquired about model MD-49145 and they advised that the shade and canopy dimensions are the same except that the rod is longer. Yes, the proportions would be slightly different. In addition, the total height from canopy to the bottom of the shade is 30". (The canopy is the hardware that is flush-mounted to your ceiling, covering the electrical junction box.) Both items are made to order items and they require about 2-3 weeks to make.
