  • Is Polished Steel shiny or more of a dull finish? Also, would this "Polished Steel" finish match with Brushed Nickel fixtures?

    Hello Kathy, Model LS-18383 has more of a shiny finish than matte, although it won't be as shiny as Chrome, per say. Polished Steel is close to Satin Nickel, but it may not be exact. It is a matter of opinion, but most people find that the 2 finishes can co-exist beautifully!

  • Are these rods adjustable to make the lighting shorter? I have the island light and would like this also but I do not want it to overwhelm the other in my kitchen

    The cables are adjustable. This light fixture does not have rods. The minimum required length is 23" (including the shade).
