    Lite Source LS-1101 is actually hardwired into the wall, so there is no exposed cord to plug into a regular outlet.

    I should have been more specific. I would like to "hang" the wall lamp and plug the light into an outlet and cover the cord with a matching (black) cord cover. Does this wall light come with a cord and matching cord cover. I have a couple of other wall lamps and they both have the ability to be wired this way.

    No, this swing arm wall lamp does not come with a cord cover because it is specifically hard wired. For some products, I know you have the ability to choose to hardwire or to plug into an outlet, but this model specifically does not allow for this application. However, if you are pretty handy, I know it is possible to convert it to plug into an outlet.
