Hi, I need to convert my 6" recessed can light in order to put up a pendant light (sloped ceiling). I would like to order the LBL MADELINE pendant and the Tech Light free jack can adapter (http://www.arcadianlighting.com/700fjrcad.html). Will these two be compatible? Hello Pat, Please be advised that the Tech Lighting FreeJack Recessed Can Adapter Canopy - 700FJRCAD - will be compatible with MOST 6" recessed cans in the recessed lighting industry. Otherwise, the 700FJRCAD is compatible to the HS268 LBL MADELINE pendant through the Jack adapter design. On the sloped ceiling (less than 45 degrees), the coaxial cable will hang vertical straight down due to the weight of pendant glass.Jul 12, 2008
I am looking to purchase 2 of the Pendant Light - HS268 for my kitchen. I like the LBL Lighting 4'' Round Dome Canopy - CK001B-FJ for the ceiling mount. I am not sure if the pendant light and the Dome Canopy are all that are required? Is there any additonal hardware such as a junction box? I will be splicing the power in from a nearby ceiling light. If I do need a junction box can you recommend one for that would work for installing these two pendant lights? Thank you.Feb 15, 2010
Hello Ryan, If you do not currently have a junction box where you plan to install the two pendants then choosing the dome canopies (http://www.arcadianlighting.com/ck001b-fj.html) is perfect because these canopies house the transformer. Thus, you would not need to create a hole to install junction boxes. When you are selecting the options for the pendant, be sure to choose the FSJ option under mounting and then you will be set after order the canopies and pendants.Feb 16, 2010

From left to right, the colors shown in the photo online are: purple, blue, red, and tortoise. The 5th light that is furthest to the right is also the tortoise finish, when it is unlit.Aug 13, 2010
