Focus Industries Outdoor Surface Step / Deck Light - FC-SL-18 and Focus Industries Brass Outdoor Surface Step / Deck Light - FC-SL-18-BRASS. What is the difference among these two lights except one is brass? Also does a connector need to be purchased in addition to this light?Jul 09, 2008
The difference between the two step/deck lights is the material each fixture is made out of. Model # FC-SL-18 is cast aluminum, while FC-SL-18-BRS is solid brass.Jul 10, 2008
I am looking for interior aisle lights for my theatre. We are replacing seating and the aisle seat standards have aisle lights. I have a need for 7 surface mounted, down light, low voltage, aisle type lights. I have looked at you web-site and the following models, FC-SL-18, LV-605-SS and Dabman LV-608. I am not sure that I have the width for the LV-608 on 6 of my locations. Which outdoor fixture emits the most light?Mar 24, 2009
After comparing the two different step lights I have confirmed with tech support that the lamps used with the FC-SL-18 does produce a brighter light and has a lamp life of about 10,000 hours. The lamp used with the LV-605 is a halogen lamp is more of a warm yellow tint and usually hotter with long use in comparison to the Xenon lamp with shorter lamp life in general.Mar 30, 2009
