    Yes, the cord can be shorten by loosing the Nylon set screws, slide the cord up through the strain relief, and retighten the Nylon set screws. Each pendant light comes with 9ft of cord that they can pull through the bar and adjust each pendant separately before installing at the box.

    Elk Lighting 110-3L comes with 6 ft. of adjustable cord; therefore you can hang each pendant light at the length of your preference up to 6ft.
