  • Can the Ellington Fans Thermostat Remote Control - EL-TRC-100 be installed on a flushmount ceiling fan? I bought the harbor breeze remote that is just like this but it could only be installed on a vaulted fan setup.

    I contacted the manufacturer and apparently Ellington Fans - EL-TRC-100 is not compatible with flush mount ceiling fans. I was informed that there is not enough room for the receiver in the canopy to fit in a flush mount model set up.
