Can you please tell me how translucent (or opaque) the bowl is on this product? I would like a fairly bright light, and the 2 100w bulbs would be good, unless a lot of light gets lost because the bowl is painted... Please advise. Thank you so much.Jan 20, 2012
Hello Kris, We contacted the manufacturer Craftmade and they advised that the glass has a translucent silvery color to it. They did say you should get plenty of light coming through as it holds 2 (100W) bulbs.Jan 21, 2012

The answer is 'TRUE'! Model CM-LKE47 has an opaque glass shade, so it should create more of an indirect light.Oct 15, 2012
