My current door bell is 27 years old and has lost the loudness of its tone. I need a door bell that can be heard over a 2900 ft one story very basic floor plan. I did contact Craftmade and advised them of your situation and they recommended going with Teiber Designer Door Bell / Chime - CM-CL. Since, they advised this is the loudest door chime that they carry. This product would have to be used with a Teiber 16V 15W Transformer for Door Bell Chime - CM-T1615. You can always opt to go with 2 chimes if you are having difficulty hearing 1 chime throughout your home. If you do decide to go with 2 chimes they recommended purchasing the Teiber 16V 30W Transformer for Door Bell Chime - CM-T1630.Jul 29, 2011
