    Hello Melinda, Item SN-4808-01 utilizes a regular E26 screw in base incandescent bulb and can be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer. The light bulbs featured on the item are called half-chrome bulbs and are available for purchase through Sonneman lighting the cost is $ 9.50 per bulb and the part number is 6774.01 (half-chrome bulb).

Question: Does this Sonneman Lighting Feather Contemporary Swing Arm Wall Lamp - SN-1629 lay flat against the wall or does it stick out 24"? Does the upper arm go into a vertical position? I want to use it for bed lighting, but there isn't much wall space and I need a lighting fixture that can swing over for reading, but then lays flat when not in use. It is wired directly into the wall? If not, do you have any other recommendations? My current fixture is like the Pinnacle, but it doesn't extend out far enough for good light for reading in bed.
