I ordered 2 of Lite Source Crown Transitional Chandelier and I was wondering if they are dimmer compatable?

Yes, you can use a dimmer for Lite Source 1058-A-VERD. Now, each chandelier uses up to 200W of light, so, if these are going in separate rooms, you need at least (1) 300W incandescent dimmer.
If these lights will be in the same room and controlled by the same switch, then, you will need at least a 600W incandescent transformer.

Nice Light, But Broken
This light arrived with one of the white glass shades shattered in pieces. The parts of the light were packed very tightly together against metal parts, which clearly didn't survive the trip. That was a huge let down because obviously one broken custom shade means that NONE of the shades are usuable. Rather than endure the hassle of repacking the components and paying return postage (and still having no light I could use), I went to a lighting shop and bought 5 new shades that I was able to make work. The fixture installed easily (I did it myself fairly quickly and without problems.) It ended up looking nice and the fixture itself functions satisfactorily. The brushed gold metal portions of the fixture are very attractive and I do like the mid-century feel of the design. So... I bought this here because it was the lowest priced leader. Sadly, I realized no savings at all due to the extra expense of replacing the shades. Lesson learned, but nice fixture in the end.
