  • Can this light be mounted on a cathedral ceiling? What is the maximum length of chain/cord from the fixture to the canopy (where it is affixed to the ceiling)?

    I contacted Elk Lighting and they confirmed that item LK-70088-3 can indeed be hung on a cathedral ceiling. The fixture is provided with 3ft of chain and 6ft of wire. Should you need to purchase additional chain it is Part# LK-70088-3 (chain only). Please note if you need to purchase additional chain you would need to call in to place the order over the phone as additional chain is not available for purchase via website.

Made in the PRC?

We like the chandelier- the design is very nice. One complaint: I believe it is made in China and I feel you should let your customers know this so that they can decide to buy or not. I am ok with imports, but for some reason I become highly concerned with Chinese imports in any category for the following reasons: 1-We are taking jobs from US workers. 2-We are supporting an oppressive govt. 3-We have no clue (as well as you) on what illegal and harmful chemicals like lead etc.. are used in the production of this product. 4-Quality and durability concerns- they use "cheap" materials and cut corners. I ran a company in China and so I KNOW how they work over there. I realize this helps keep pricing down, but I would prefer to pay slightly more and not have these concerns.
