Hinkley Lighting began in 1922 as the Phil R. Hinkley Company. Hinkley Lighting initially offered less than twenty choices of interior and exterior lighting options for the home. Over the following decades, Stanley Wiedemer, followed by his family who carry on the business today, expanded the line to incorporate more designs, styles and lighting functions. Hinkley Lighting produces their lighting in America in an Ohio manufacturing facility. Hinkley has produced landscape lighting since 1987 in addition to interior light fixtures. Once they acquired Fredrick Ramon in 2007 this allowed Hinkley Lighting to move into the high end lighting market. The company motto is “Life Aglow” and Hinkley Lighting produces stylish, quality lighting that makes life glow in commercial and private lighting designs, illuminating all aspects life in interior and exterior living.
