    Hello Joyce, Craftmade confirmed that wall sconce CM-11505OB1 does NOT have an on/off switch. This item is only hardwired and powered on or off by a switch in your home.

Looks Amazing

I was nervous about this light because of the amber glass in the middle and I really didn't want a gold light. But the amber is delicate and the outer glass is beautiful. It is a nice size and would go with most styles. I think it looks so much more expensive than it was. I would recommend this without a problem.
