  • Can you please tell me how translucent (or opaque) the bowl is on this product? I would like a fairly bright light, and the 2 100w bulbs would be good, unless a lot of light gets lost because the bowl is painted... Please advise. Thank you so much.

    Hello Kris, We contacted the manufacturer Craftmade and they advised that the glass has a translucent silvery color to it. They did say you should get plenty of light coming through as it holds 2 (100W) bulbs.

Disco light, and Arcadian in general, not worth it

Disco ball light kit I bought only really compatible with Craftmade fans. Shame on me for trusting Arcadian, and for not reading returns policy thoroughly. 20% restocking fee? Really? It's 2012. Horrible customer service and inferior products. Stay away from Arcadian at all costs!
