  • I have romex run to each under-cabinet section. They each run to a junction in a crawlspace which has a 120V switched feed line. Can I connect cut sections to each piece of romex (used as low voltage) and hook the transformer to my line voltage switch leg? I would need 8 connectors as well as a transformer to power the lights.

    The MX-53434 can be installed in an unlimited amount of possibilities. This LED tape can be daisy chained with jumper cables to connect each LED tape and they all will be powered from a central power source (transformer). So to answer your question the romex cable will not be able to plug/power the LED tape. You need a power or a jumper cable.

Excellent Customer Service

Arcadian has an outstanding selection of RLM pendants for my customers to choose which is an excellent resource, however, the main reason I am rating my recent transaction is the customer service. As is typical for any construction project these days, the project schedule is extremely aggressive. I ordered the fixtures with ample time for delivery, but I also requested delivery status updates to stay on top of any potential situations. Whenever I requested an update, I received a detailed response within 1 day. So our fixtures arrived at our office, but the jobsite was 90 minutes away (it is a large campus style facility, and we try not to deliver direct as shipments tend to get lost or misplaced. Anyway, the electrican who was to install them just threw the boxes in the back of his pick-up and lost one of the boxes on the highway and ruined all 4 of the fixtures in that box. I immediately replied to one of the status update emails I had received from Arcadian to explain my predicament and they promptly responded that they would expedite these as soon as possible pending the factories availability (these are MTO - made-to-order so they are not sitting on a shelf). It seemed like they made this their top priority and delivered the fixtures just before the grand reopening of one of the sports bars at this resort. I will definitely be using Arcadian in the future.
