Question: I would like to purchase a medallion for my ceiling but the cap of my lighting fixture on the ceiling is 5" across. Your site says the hole in this Capital Lighting Ansley Traditional Ceiling Medallion - CP-79483 is only 4". Can the medallion be cut or can you place the fixtures cap over the part of the medallion that is next to the hole? It would have to go over about 1/2 inch on each side of the hole.
