8 Inch Recessed Lighting Trims

Design Tips:

  • Square eight inch recessed lighting trim can replace a flush mounted ceiling fixture when used with an eight inch recessed lighting fixture.
  • Use large recessed lights with higher ceilings such as vaulted and cathedral ceilings.
  • Combine different size recessed lights in a room for a varied lighting profile that encompasses different activities in the space.
Arcadian Home offers multiple sizes of recessed lights and their corresponding trim kits. The largest of these recessed lighting trims is the eight inch size. Eight inch recessed lighting trim is a larger recessed lighting option for residential and commercial applications in homes, offices, hotels, stores, libraries and other interiors requiring overhead lighting with a low profile. The benefit of recessed lighting trim is that it can be flush mounted with the ceiling or have a very low-key look that can virtually disappear. Larger recessed lights and recessed light trim can be used in place of flush mount ceiling lights to create a very sleek profile on the ceiling. Various styles, colors, materials and shapes mean there is an eight inch recessed light trim for every décor style.

Eight inch recessed light trims work with the eight inch recessed lighting fixtures. These recessed lighting fixture trims come in a range of styles, colors, shapes and finishes. Each of the styles of eight inch recessed lighting trims serve different functions. These trim styles include baffle, reflective, eyeball, aperture, gimbal, scoop wall wash, domed, and louvered. Eight inch recessed lighting trims are available in glass, metal and plastic construction with glass diffusers or exposed lamps.

Recessed lighting has many applications throughout the home, office, hotel, restaurant and other professional settings. Like the other sizes of recessed light trims the eight inch recessed light trim can be used in areas such as finished basements and in combination with other lighting in other rooms in the home including kitchens, living rooms and bathrooms. Eight inch recessed lighting and the corresponding recessed light trim make great task lighting or ambient lighting when used in conjunction with a dimmer.

Arcadian Home offers a collection of recessed lighting, including eight inch recessed lighting trim by such leading designers as: Nora Lighting, Progress Lighting and WAC Lighting. For additional recessed lighting options, browse our wide selection of recessed lighting.

Q & A of the Day

  • Does this trim cover come with the spring wire holder attached?
    Greg Feb 10, 2013
Hello Greg, Item NST-22 doesn't have the curly springs on each side. Instead, it has the "V" shaped pressure clips, 1 on each side, that hold the trim into the housing unit.

New Customer Review

clear, not opaque

I expected this to be opaque, but it shows the light bulb thru the glass. If you want opaque, so you have light, but can't see the bulb, don't buy this one.
