Which of the old bronze or aged brass colors from Hudson Valley Lighting is closest to flat black?
Well, the aged brass will definitely not work because it is more similar to a gold finish. See the following link for an example of Hudson Valley’s aged brass:
You will be better off going with the Old Bronze finish, which will have a bronze or brown tint, but will definitely be the darker finish. However, we are not sure that it can be confused with black. While some products may appear quite dark online, in the actual catalog, it simply appears to be a brown or bronze color.
What color schemes are in your bathroom? For example, if everything is dark, you may want to contrast it with an AN or antique nickel finish. It is a really classy finish that looks rich and not cheap like as you would find in a polished nickel.
