Almost everything in this world has its own right place. In fact, this standard is of the most important foundations of the fashion industry. For example, even a $1,000 pair of designer shoes will not be so fascinating if worn with the wrong pieces of clothing. Finding the right place for everything is dreadfully important when it comes to style and class.

But do not let common sense deceive you. Most people think that the only right places to put lamps are living rooms, dining rooms, and other major parts of the house. But did you know that floor lamps could work in certain unusual places as well!
Hallways
Most people neglect hallways. It may be because hallways are some of the least frequented parts of the house and they only serve as connecting passageways between rooms and sections. But if the hallway stretches quite a distance, say for example about three meters or more, it might be a great place for floor lamps.

Just imagine a passageway that has floor lamps on each side. Now is that not quite a lovely sight? It would actually mimic the look of a highway illuminated by street lights. Also, they would provide just the right illumination at night.
Doorways
The main door is a usual choice. Especially if the doors are massive and expanses quite a width, you can place a floor lamp on each side which will make a great home décor idea. Of course, you should not do this on every door because that would be unnecessarily excessive. Focus only on main doorways.

And there does not have to be a door either. Entrance ways from once section of the house to another should also make a great place for floor lamps. Especially if the entrance way is extraordinarily designed like in the case of an arch or by a fireplace where adding a floor lamp is a good idea.
Sleeping Quarters
Usually, sleeping quarters are neglected of a lamp because of the limited space. But if you just know where to place it, the lamp will not be a hindrance. The bed side and table side for example are good spots.

It will also be perfect for the room of young children who still cannot sleep in a completely dark room. It will provide the right illumination to keep them feeling comfortable.

Alright, now here is the real ironic choice. And who thought the comfort room would also be a great place for designer floor lamps? Surprise your guests with this home décor idea because it is surely a blast! When looking for the right spot, some common choices are the family room and the playroom.
