I live in rain country, where it is not unusual to get rain 10 months of the year. Are these Dabmar LV-605 Outdoor Step Light – DM-LV-605 completely waterproof? If not, is there another model you can recommend for wet environments?
Dabmar LV-605 Outdoor Step Light
We have contacted Dabmar who said that the landscape light (LV-605) is waterproof. They recommend the stainless steel version because over time there is wear and tear, but the environment is not likely to affect the stainless steel finish as it would with cast aluminum finish.
This outdoor spotlight from Dabmar used a 20W 12V MR-16 halogen bulb which is included. When you are calculating your total wattage, make sure you are using up to only 80-90% of the transformer as voltage drops as the fixtures run further away from the transformer. This way, when you have some room left on the transformer, the furthest light from it, still has the same brightness as that light closest to the transformer.
Dabmar Marquee Transitional Outdoor Lamp Post by Dabmar
We confirmed from Dabmar (the manufacturer), that this outdoor lamp postis attach to the ground via anchor bolts and the bolt pattern is forthcoming. There is an access panel on the base for maintenance. This lighting fixture uses medium base, 180W, incandescent bulbs and does have a photocell option. The actual lantern measure is 17.5″ tall and 15.5″ wide.
I am very interested in this Dabmar LV-69 Path Light – DM-LV-69 but needs it to be shorter. Is it possible to place it further into the ground so as to decrease the above-ground height? I would prefer something around 15 inches tall.
Dabmar LV-69 Path Light
We were informed by Dabmar (the manufacturer), that you cannot cut this path light, because you will cut right into the threads. They also informed me that you cannot place it further into the ground. This fixture is made out of cast aluminum.
