Comparing the halogen and flourescent options, I need to know: 1. if one is brighter than the other or if the brightness is about the same. 2. Would the flourescent light option change the physical appearance of the fixture or would it look the same? 3. They lumen output is very similar. These means that the brightness of the halogen and fluorescent options are very similar, but keep in mind that fluorescent light bulbs have a slow start up in lighting up. Where as incandescent (halogen) bulbs light up immediately. The fluorescent option will not change the physical appearance of the light fixture. But please remember that the fluorescent option only comes with (4) 13W CFL light bulbs as opposed to the halogen option of (10) 40W bulbs. So the way the fixture distributes light output will differ. And light bulbs will be included in either option you opt for.Jul 12, 2011
