Use to retrofit existing recessed down-lights for use with FreeJack elements. Includes 75W version dimmable with a standard incandescent dimmer. 10W version dimmable with low-voltage electronic dimmer. Mounts to any recessed can that is 6-1/4" to 6-1/2" in diameter and has "C" shaped hooks on the inside can wall.

    The Tech Lighting FreeJack Recessed Can Adapter Canopy with Transformer - 700FJRCAD does NOT fit on a monorail configuration. This item is for a free mounting pendant light or similar fixture with a FREEJACK ADAPTER. 700MOREC15E is the Recessed Can Transformer that can power a low voltage Tech Lighting monorail system.

  • We want to change out (3) existing recessed lights to the Tech Lighting Summit Contemporary Pendant Light - 700FJSUM but want to make sure the Tech Lighting FreeJack Recessed Can Adapter is the correct one to use for this. Our recessed cans our the standard 6-6 1/4" can. I believe each adapter comes with the 12 volt transformer because the pendants are low voltage. Otherwise we will need to add a transformer to the line.

    Model 700FJRCAD is the correct adapter to use. It comes with a 12 V, 75W transformer.
